Grammy Award-winning pianist, composer, and producer Bill Laurance is internationally acclaimed for his genre-defying blend of jazz, classical, and electronic music. A founding member of Snarky Puppy, he has earned five Grammy Awards, including Best Contemporary Instrumental Album for Empire Central, Live at the Royal Albert Hall, Culcha Vulcha, and Sylva, as well as Best R&B Performance for the band’s collaboration with Lalah Hathaway. Laurance’s versatility has made him a sought-after collaborator across film, television, and dance. His work has appeared in campaigns for Apple and Sky, and in films including Un Traductor and Initials S.G., for which he composed original themes. He also collaborated closely with David Crosby, including on the documentary Remember My Name. His compositions have been performed by major ensembles such as the WDR Big Band Cologne and Metropole Orkest. Recent releases: Keeping Company (with Michael League, 2024) and his 12th solo album Lumen (2025)
