Local Artist Series: Corduroy

From humble beginnings as a weekly jam session amongst friends, Corduroy has matured into a polished musical entity. Corduroy’s sound is a deliberate homage to the “Yacht Rock” genre, conjuring a bygone era distinguished by smooth, lush sounds. The band’s diverse repertoire encompasses artists from the 1960s to the present, with a concentrated focus on the 1970s, drawing inspiration from Christopher Cross, Player, Pablo Cruise, and Sade.  As a collective of seasoned musicians from the New England scene, Corduroy shares a deep appreciation for the genre and its groovy aesthetic.
