Happy Birthday to the one and only Bootsy Collins! Born on this day in 1951, Bootsy cut his teeth in the music biz first touring with James Brown, and later playing with Parliament Funkadelic. Bootsy might be most recognizable by his wild outfits and custom “Space Bass”, but don’t let the look fool you – his bass skills earned him an induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
