A Tribute to Royal Ladies of Blues & Soul

Boston?s Diane Blue is a ?multi-talented performer who?s equally at home belting out a blues standard or cutting loose with a ferocious harmonica solo? (Bill Van Siclen, Providence Journal). The first female member of Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, she has been prominently featured on six celebrated records, contributing co-writing credits, while also leading her own all-star band. A multi-nominated and award-winning artist, Diane competed at the 2011 International Blues Challenge in Memphis and has shared the stage with legends including Luther ?Guitar Jr.? Johnson, Irma Thomas, Toni Lynn Washington, and the late Big Jack Johnson, who called her a ?monster on the harp.? Her latest solo album, Look for the Light (Regina Royale Records, 2019), debuted at #10 on the Living Blues Radio Chart and reached #8, also appearing on the international Roots Music Report Top 50 Contemporary Blues Albums.
