Dan Moretti, a renowned saxophonist and composer, releases Dan Moretti & Brazilia: Live at the Pump House Music Works, a dynamic live album honoring jazz legend Wayne Shorter. Featuring Grammy-winning bassist Oscar Stagnaro, pianist Maxim Lubarsky, percussionist Ernesto Diaz, and drummer Steve Langone, the album reinterprets Shorter’s iconic compositions with vibrant Latin jazz rhythms. Tracks like ‘Black Nile’ as a mambo and ‘Night Dreamer’ with a reggae twist showcase innovative arrangements that blend jazz tradition with fresh Latin influences. Recorded live at the Pump House Music Works in Rhode Island, the album also serves as a fundraiser for the venue.
