These programs and loving staff became extended family to a beloved local woman, Susan Driscoll Wilson, who passed in January 2023 after her long battle with Myeloma cancer. Her husband Joe Wilson (The Joshua Tree), with friends at Jimmy’s Jazz & Blues Club have come together to give thanks and awareness to these organizations and staff that made a positive daily difference in her life and for her family.
On Thursday, August 24th, The Joshua Tree, the nations premiere tribute to the band U2, will perform a special show dedicated to raising funds for cancer patient support, at Jimmy's Jazz & Blues club in downtown Portsmouth, NH. Proceeds will benefit two local programs: "Beyond The Rainbow" at Exeter Hospital and "Caring For A Cure" at Mass General Hospital.
