THE MIDNIGHT WRENS are an indie folk rock band celebrated for creating music that feels both fresh and deeply familiar. Since 2017, the band has quickly become a beloved fixture in the NH music scene and beyond, charming audiences with their uplifting shows and intricate musical interplay. The group comprises five lifelong friends: Tom Powley (Percy Hill) on vocals and rhythm guitar, vocalist Sue Fitzgerald, Jon Hawes (Mike Love) on bass, Bryan Killough (Groove Child) on lead guitar, and drummer Andy Herrick (Assembly of Dust) with stirring accompaniment from Max Chase (Marble Eyes) on keys. In 2024, The Midnight Wrens were thrilled to introduce their latest project, 'The Songbird Collection'. This EP marks a significant development in their musical journey, blending their signature harmonies with soul-stirring arrangements that explore themes of love, hope, renewal, and the joy of human connection.
