  • Dezron Douglas Quartet

    Bassist, composer, bandleader, and educator Dezron Douglas has established himself as a major force in contemporary creative music. A protégé of the great Jackie McLean, the Downbeat Magazine 2019 Rising Star is known for his work with Pharoah Sanders, Ravi Coltrane, Cyrus Chestnut, David Murray, Louis Hayes, Enrico Rava and also with piano legends George Cables, Eric Reed, Mulgrew Miller and Benny Green. In 2021, he joined the Trey Anastasio Band. Dezron has recorded on more than 100 albums, contributing to the artistry of numerous bandleaders and maintaining an integral presence in the sounds of his peers, including Keyon Harrold, Jonathan Blake, Melanie Charles, and Makaya McCraven. He is an active music educator, currently on the Jazz Studies faculty at NYU Steinhardt. He has released six albums as a lead artist and maintains a variety of projects that he uses as platforms for his compositions.

    Joey Alexander is a GRAMMY®-nominated jazz pianist and composer from Bali, Indonesia, widely recognized as one of the most exciting voices in contemporary jazz. He burst onto the global scene with his 2015 debut My Favorite Things on Motéma Music and has since released seven acclaimed albums across Motéma, Verve Records, and Mack Avenue Records. Alexander has earned three GRAMMY nominations, including Best Instrumental Album for My Favorite Things and Best Improvised Jazz Solo for "Giant Steps" and "Countdown."     Yasmin Williams is an innovative guitarist and composer whose expansive instrumental style has made her one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary acoustic music. Her latest album Acadia, released on Nonesuch Records, marks an exciting evolution from solo performer to collaborative artist, featuring notable musicians including Aoife O'Donovan and Immanuel Wilkins. Williams' unique compositional approach often begins with what she describes as "ruminating" on a single note until a piece naturally unfolds. Beyond her remarkable fingerstyle guitar technique, she performs on kora, harp guitar, banjo, and electric guitar, creating richly layered textures. Following her acclaimed 2021 album Urban Driftwood, Acadia expands her sound into three distinct musical landscapes, moving from folk traditions to atmospheric soundscapes and experimental arrangements, balancing virtuosic precision with luminous, floating melodies.

Fronted by New England Music Award winners Ruby Shabazz and Fee the Evolutionist, the group is backed by a powerhouse ensemble of the region's most accomplished jazz and funk instrumentalists. Ruby's soulful vocals evoke the classic R&B legends of the past, while Fee delivers a unique flow reminiscent of golden-era emcees. Together with their world-class rhythm section, they create a high-energy groove that keeps the crowd rocking.

  • Scintillating Brazilian Jazz~Walker, Stagnaro, Lubarsky, Colon

    TRIAD+ celebrates the vibrant spirit of Brazilian jazz with an all-star quartet of internationally acclaimed musicians: drummer Mark Walker, bassist Oscar Stagnaro, pianist Maxim Lubarsky, and saxophonist Edmar Colón. Originally formed as a trio by multi-GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winners Walker, Stagnaro, and Lubarsky, the group expanded when Puerto Rican saxophonist Colón joined for a special performance at Boston's GBH. Their electrifying program pays tribute to the legendary Brazilian composer Hermeto Pascoal, whose genre-defying music blends Brazilian folk traditions, jazz, and fearless experimentation. The quartet's recent release, "Hermetic: A Tribute to Hermeto Pascoal Live at GBH", captures the adventurous spirit of this project. With deep roots in Latin jazz and decades of performance experience, TRIAD+ brings Pascoal's imaginative music to life through dynamic improvisation, rhythmic fire, and inspired interplay, delivering a thrilling evening of Brazilian-influenced jazz.

  • John Pizzarelli Presents “Dear Mr. Bennett” 

    GRAMMY®-winning guitarist, vocalist, and producer John Pizzarelli celebrates the legacy of the legendary Tony Bennett with Dear Mr. Bennett, a heartfelt tribute released March 3, 2026 via Green Hill Music. The recording features Pizzarelli's trio, bassist Mike Karn and pianist Isaiah J. Thompson, performing timeless songs made famous by Bennett with warmth, swing, and lyrical beauty. For Pizzarelli, Bennett was more than an influence. His father, guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, frequently performed with the iconic singer, and John later had the opportunity to accompany Bennett himself. The admiration was mutual; Bennett attended several of Pizzarelli's performances and even sketched the artwork that appears on the album's cover. Reflecting on Bennett's enduring impact, Pizzarelli says, "Tony's artistry was just so magnificent. And he was able to continually reinvent himself." The trio will tour this repertoire worldwide throughout 2026 and 2027.

    A Seacoast funk collective delivering deep grooves, bold horns, and modern soul. Based on the Seacoast of Maine and New Hampshire, Foreside Funk is a multigenerational band bringing together seasoned musicians with a shared passion for groove-driven music and high-energy live performance. Built around a powerful horn section and a tight rhythm section, the band blends classic funk traditions with jazz, soul, and modern influences. Their performances move from hard-grooving funk to soulful ballads and jazz-infused arrangements, giving every show its own character. Foreside Funk draws inspiration from artists such as Fred Wesley, Bernard Purdie, Walter 'Wolfman' Washington, Ray Charles, Freddie Hubbard, David Sanborn, and The Crusaders, alongside modern funk innovators like Lettuce, Trombone Shorty, The Motet, and Maceo Parker. Whether performing in concert venues, festivals, or intimate clubs, Foreside Funk brings a vibrant stage presence rooted in musicianship and groove.

  • Trouble No More

    The music of the ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND will be celebrated with the Friday, March 25 debut of the new band TROUBLE NO MORE at NYC's Beacon Theatre, a venue the esteemed ABB played nearly 250 times. They will be honoring the 50th anniversary of the Eat A Peach record which was released February 12, 1972, and has been distinguished as one of the greatest albums of all time. Trouble No More includes Brandon "Taz" Niederaurer (Guitar, Vocals), Daniel Donato (Guitar, Vocals), Dylan Niederauer (Bass Guitar), Jack Ryan (Drums), Lamar Williams Jr. (Vocals), Nikki Glaspie (Drums), Peter Levin (Keys) and Roosevelt Collier (Pedal Steel Guitar).
