  • John Pizzarelli Presents “Dear Mr. Bennett” 

    GRAMMY®-winning guitarist, vocalist, and producer John Pizzarelli celebrates the legacy of the legendary Tony Bennett with Dear Mr. Bennett, a heartfelt tribute released March 3, 2026 via Green Hill Music. The recording features Pizzarelli?s trio?bassist Mike Karn and pianist Isaiah J. Thompson?performing timeless songs made famous by Bennett with warmth, swing, and lyrical beauty. For Pizzarelli, Bennett was more than an influence. His father, guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, frequently performed with the iconic singer, and John later had the opportunity to accompany Bennett himself. The admiration was mutual; Bennett attended several of Pizzarelli?s performances and even sketched the artwork that appears on the album?s cover. Reflecting on Bennett?s enduring impact, Pizzarelli says, ?Tony?s artistry was just so magnificent. And he was able to continually reinvent himself.? The first female member of Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, she has been prominently featured on six celebrated records, contributing co-writing credits, while also leading her own all-star band. A multi-nominated and award-winning artist, Diane competed at the 2011 International Blues Challenge in Memphis and has shared the stage with legends including Luther ?Guitar Jr.? Johnson, Irma Thomas, Toni Lynn Washington, and the late Big Jack Johnson, who called her a ?monster on the harp.? Her latest solo album, Look for the Light (Regina Royale Records, 2019), debuted at #10 on the Living Blues Radio Chart and reached #8, also appearing on the international Roots Music Report Top 50 Contemporary Blues Albums.

A graduate of Loyola University with a degree in French Horn, Gros began performing at fifteen and quickly became a sought-after sideman, supporting New Orleans legends such as George Porter Jr. and Snooks Eaglin. Between 2000 and 2013, he led Papa Grows Funk, releasing six critically acclaimed albums and touring internationally. His third solo album, Central City, showcases his feel-good originals alongside interpretations of classics by Allen Toussaint, Lloyd Price, and John Prine, featuring some of New Orleans? finest musicians.
