    GRAMMY®-winning guitarist, vocalist, and producer John Pizzarelli celebrates the legacy of the legendary Tony Bennett with Dear Mr. Bennett, a heartfelt tribute released March 3, 2026 via Green Hill Music. The recording features Pizzarelli?s trio?bassist Mike Karn and pianist Isaiah J. Thompson?performing timeless songs made famous by Bennett with warmth, swing, and lyrical beauty. For Pizzarelli, Bennett was more than an influence. His father, guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli, frequently performed with the iconic singer, and John later had the opportunity to accompany Bennett himself. The admiration was mutual; Bennett attended several of Pizzarelli?s performances and even sketched the artwork that appears on the album?s cover. Johnson, Irma Thomas, Toni Lynn Washington, and the late Big Jack Johnson, who called her a ?monster on the harp.?
